Room Description

Accommodation at Tsala Treetops comes in the form of 10 private suites, tucked in the forest canopy, with every indulgence and luxury for the ultimate romantic retreat. Built from stone, wood and glass, each suite has a plush bedroom, elegant sitting room with a fireplace, a sumptuous bathroom and a private deck with an infinity pool. Bliss is the word. There are also six villas, with indoor and outdoor showers, two bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, large lounge with fireplace, private deck and infinity pool – the perfect family hideaway. This may be a treetop lodge but you don't have to leave your mod cons at home - all the rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi, in room safes, underfloor heating and air con, fully stocked minibars, tea and coffee-making facilities, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers.

If you can tear yourself away from the lodge and your private infinity pool, there’s a huge array of tours and trips to enjoy from Monkeyland primate sanctuary and the Tenikwa Wil Cat Sanctuary, to a Whales, Dolphins and Seals watching boat trip, sailing in a luxury yacht through the Knysa Heads, or a leisurely boat trip on the waterways of the Garden Route, surfing or kayaking in Plettenberg Bay, shark cage diving, mountain biking and scenic horseback trails.

Meals at Tsala are served in a glass walled dining room, so you don't miss a single opportunity to enjoy the view or spot some elusive wild animal walking by. Start the day with a huge buffet breakfast and a glass of bubbly (why not?) and for dinner, enjoy distinctive international cuisine at Zinzi Restaurant, in its incredible forest setting. Tsala also has a serious wine cellar, with a huge selection of wines to enjoy during your stay.
